The Jr antigen of the JR blood group system is a highly prevalent red blood cell antigen. Although anti-Jr-associated hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn (HDFN) is generally considered mild-to-moderate, a rare fatal case was recently reported. We report the third example of HDFN-related anti-Jr with fatal outcomes. The clinical significance of anti-Jr antibody as a cause of HDFN should be reassessed.
JR血型系统的Jr抗原是一种高度常见的红细胞抗原。虽然胎儿及新生儿溶血病（HDFN）相关的抗Jr通常被认为病情为轻至中度，但最近有一例罕见的致命病例被报道。我们报告了第三例与HDFN相关的抗Jr导致致命后果的病例。抗Jr抗体作为HDFN病因的临床意义应重新评估。
