[Congenital stromal cyst of the iris. A clinico-histopathological case report (author's transl)].

The clinical symptoms and the histopathology of a typical congenital stromal cyst of the iris are described. The difficulties of a correct diagnosis, especially in relation to a spontaneous luxation of the lens into the anterior chamber are pointed out. As to the origin of the cyst the development from transformed corneal endothelium should be taken into consideration.
