Abstract

Activation cross sections of alpha-induced reactions on natural erbium were measured using a 50.9-MeV alpha-beam at the RIKEN AVF cyclotron. Well-established methods for the measurements, the stacked-foil activation technique and gamma-ray spectrometry, were used. Production cross sections of Yb and Tm were determined. This is the first measurement of the cross sections of Tm. The integral yield of the medical radionuclide Yb was derived from the measured excitation function.

利用日本理化研究所的AVF回旋加速器产生的50.9兆电子伏特α粒子束,测量了天然铒上α诱导反应的活化截面。测量采用了成熟的方法,即叠层箔活化技术和γ射线能谱法。确定了镱和铥的生成截面。这是首次对铥的截面进行测量。医用放射性核素镱的积分产额由测得的激发函数得出。
