Abstract

Allergic rhinitis (AR) is a common disease. The therapeutic efficacy of AR needs to be improved. This study aims to evaluate the effects of local administration of probiotic extracts on inhibiting experimental AR. Epithelial cells (ECs) were primed by exposing to extracts (CBe) in the culture to upregulate the expression of IL-10. A mouse AR model was developed to assess the therapeutic potential of CBe in AR. CBe markedly induced the expression of IL-10 in ECs. Co-culture of naive B cells with CBe-primed ECs significantly increased IL-10 expression in the B cells (iB10 cells). The iB10 cells showed immune suppressive function in suppressing effector CD4 T-cell proliferation. Treatment with nasal drops containing CBe efficiently inhibited experimental AR in mice. Local administration of CBe can efficiently inhibit experimental AR.

变应性鼻炎(AR)是一种常见疾病。AR 的治疗效果有待提高。本研究旨在评估局部给予益生菌提取物对抑制实验性 AR 的作用。将上皮细胞(ECs)暴露于提取物(CBe)中进行预刺激,以上调 IL-10 的表达。建立小鼠 AR 模型以评估 CBe 在 AR 中的治疗潜力。CBe 显著诱导 ECs 中 IL-10 的表达。将幼稚 B 细胞与 CBe 预刺激的 ECs 共培养,可显著增加 B 细胞(iB10 细胞)中 IL-10 的表达。iB10 细胞具有抑制效应 CD4 T 细胞增殖的免疫抑制功能。鼻腔滴注含有 CBe 的制剂可有效抑制小鼠的实验性 AR。局部给予 CBe 可有效抑制实验性 AR。
