Highlight Kawakami and colleagues reported a case of complete clearance of intrahepatic bile duct stones via endoscopic ultrasonography-guided hepaticogastrostomy (EUS-HGS) confirmed under direct antegrade peroral transluminal video cholangioscopy (POTVCS). EUS-guided extraction is applicable in selected patients after failed transpapillary extraction. Moreover, POTVCS via the EUS-HGS route is effective for confirming complete clearance.
