Current studies reporting the association between VDR polymorphisms and susceptibility to hypertension are controversial. This meta-analysis aims to obtain a precise correlation estimate between VDR polymorphisms and susceptibility to hypertension.
Relevant studies were searched in PubMed, Web of Science, CNRI, Wanfang, and VIP using the keywords as "Vitamin D receptor, hypertension", "Vitamin D receptor polymorphism, hypertension", and "VDR, hypertension". ORs and corresponding 95%CI of eligible studies were calculated using RevMan5.3 and STATA12.0.
Seven independent studies reporting the association between VDR gene polymorphisms and hypertension were enrolled. VDR rs1544410 (BsmI) was associated with susceptibility to hypertension. The frequency of VDR BsmI AA genotype decreased in hypertension patients compared with healthy controls. The population carrying VDR BsmI AA genotype had lower susceptibility to hypertension relative to those carrying GA or GG genotype (OR = 0.69, 95% CI = 0.54-0.89, p = 0.005). Meanwhile, the frequency of A allele was higher in the case group than that of control group (OR = 0.83, 95% CI = 0.69-0.99, p = 0.04). No significant correlation was found between VDR FokI or VDR ApaI with susceptibility to hypertension.
VDR BsmI gene polymorphism is closely related to the susceptibility to hypertension.
目前报道维生素 D 受体(VDR)多态性与高血压易感性之间关联的研究结果存在争议。本荟萃分析旨在获得 VDR 多态性与高血压易感性之间的精确相关性估计。
使用关键词“维生素 D 受体、高血压”“维生素 D 受体多态性、高血压”和“VDR、高血压”,在 PubMed、Web of Science、CNKI、万方和 VIP 中检索相关研究。使用 RevMan5.3 和 STATA12.0 计算纳入研究的 OR 值及其对应的 95%CI。
共纳入 7 项独立研究,报道了 VDR 基因多态性与高血压之间的关联。VDR rs1544410(BsmI)与高血压易感性相关。与健康对照组相比,高血压患者 VDR BsmI AA 基因型的频率降低。携带 VDR BsmI AA 基因型的人群发生高血压的风险低于携带 GA 或 GG 基因型的人群(OR=0.69,95%CI=0.54-0.89,p=0.005)。同时,病例组 A 等位基因的频率高于对照组(OR=0.83,95%CI=0.69-0.99,p=0.04)。VDR FokI 或 VDR ApaI 与高血压易感性之间无显著相关性。
