The aims of this study were to train parents to recognize and prevent child sexual abuse (CSA); evaluate the problems encountered by parents; and evaluate the overall effectiveness of the CSA training program.
The study used a pretest/posttest design. The study was conducted with a sample of 58 children (aged 3-6 years) and 64 parents.
Children who received CSA prevention education from their parents demonstrated improved knowledge about private parts and about what they should do if they suspect sexual abuse. The parents stated that they encountered some problems (other family members objected to the child being given such training).
Children's risk of abuse may be reduced if their parents teach them about CSA correctly.
本研究旨在培训家长识别和预防儿童性虐待（CSA）；评估家长遇到的问题；并评估 CSA 培训计划的整体效果。
本研究采用了预测试/后测试设计。研究对象为 58 名儿童（3-6 岁）和 64 名家长。
接受过 CSA 预防教育的儿童在了解隐私部位和怀疑遭受性虐待时应采取的措施方面表现出了更好的知识水平。家长们表示，他们遇到了一些问题（其他家庭成员反对对孩子进行此类培训）。
