Here, we describe the complete genome of sp. strain KEPCO-1, a thermophilic and hydrogenotrophic methanogen that was isolated from an anaerobic digester in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The genome of KEPCO-1 shares 96.98% of its sequence with strain DSM 2133 and consists of 1,741,029 bp, with 1,822 protein-coding genes, 44 noncoding RNAs, and a GC content of 48.47%. The development of this genome will facilitate future genomic studies of KEPCO-1.
在此,我们描述了韩国首尔一个厌氧消化池中分离出的嗜热氢营养型产甲烷菌——某菌株KEPCO - 1的完整基因组。KEPCO - 1的基因组与DSM 2133菌株的序列有96.98%的相似性,由1,741,029个碱基对组成,有1,822个蛋白质编码基因、44个非编码RNA,GC含量为48.47%。该基因组的研究将有助于未来对KEPCO - 1进行基因组学研究。
