Abstract

sp. strain THM-1, a thermophilic and hydrogenotrophic methanogen, was isolated from an anaerobic reactor enriched with thermophilic methanogens. The genome of THM-1 shares 98.81% of its sequence with Methanothermobacter wolfeii isolate SIV6 and consists of 1,724,502 bp with 1,665 protein-coding genes, 50 noncoding RNAs, and a GC content of 48.6%.

菌株THM-1是一种嗜热且以氢为营养源的产甲烷菌,从一个富含嗜热产甲烷菌的厌氧反应器中分离得到。THM-1的基因组与沃氏嗜热栖甲烷杆菌菌株SIV6的序列有98.81%的相似性,由1,724,502个碱基对组成,含有1,665个蛋白质编码基因、50个非编码RNA,GC含量为48.6%。
