A number of school difficulties in children result from the disregard of their basic biological rhythms. The author emphasizes the role of the pediatrician in teaching the parents the respect of these rhythms, and in particular of the sleep requirements. The child's fatigue may result in school difficulties and its detection, on the basis of its various symptoms, is important.
