Abstract
In a 6-year-old girl with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, pericardial effusion and mediastinal mass remission lasted for 7 wks. only in spite of intensive chemotherapy. Bone marrow transplantation for a HL-A-identical, MLC-negative sister was attempted after antipleukemic therapy (Cytosin-arabinoside, BCNU, Cyclophosphamide) and total body irradiation, After uneventful course of engraftment complete remission was achieved for 5 1/2 months.
