Abstract

This report describes the whole-genome sequence of a microcystin-degrading bacterium, sp. strain MD-1, isolated from a lake in Japan. The sp. strain MD-1 genome had a total length of 4,617,766 bp. Moreover, strain MD-1 showed a conserved microcystin-degrading gene cluster ( to ), similar to sp. strain C-1.

本报告描述了从日本一个湖泊中分离出的微囊藻毒素降解细菌sp.菌株MD-1的全基因组序列。sp.菌株MD-1的基因组全长为4,617,766 bp。此外,菌株MD-1显示出一个保守的微囊藻毒素降解基因簇(至),与sp.菌株C-1相似。
