Abstract
In this issue of , Marchetti et al describe a novel diagnostic algorithm for heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) based on the 4Ts score and 2 rapid immunoassays (IAs) that correctly classified >95% of patients within a 60-minute analytical window.
