A Gram-stain-negative, non-motile, rod-shaped bacterial strain, designated NBC 122, was isolated from freshwater of the Nakdong River Republic of Korea. Growth occurred at pH 5.0-8.0 (optimum, pH 7.0), at 4-37 °C (optimum, 25 °C), and with 0-3.5% (w/v) NaCl (optimum, 1%). Phylogenetic analyses based on 16S rRNA gene sequences showed that strain NBC 122 belongs to the genus Chryseobacterium and is most closely related to Chryseobacterium antarcticum AT1013 (97.85%). The average nucleotide identity and in silico DNA-DNA hybridization (DDH) values between strain NBC 122 and related Chryseobacterium species were 77.77-80.28 and 20.9-23.2%, respectively. The strain NBC 122 contained MK-6 as the major respiratory quinone. The major fatty acids included anteiso C, iso C, summed feature 9 (C iso ω9c, C 10-methyl) and iso C 3-OH, and the polar lipids were phosphatidylethanolamine, five unidentified aminolipids and six unidentified lipids. The DNA G + C content was 37.5 mol%. On the basis of a 16S rRNA gene phylogeny and comparative phenotypic analyses, strain NBC 122 represents a novel species in the genus Chryseobacterium, for which the name Chryseobacterium salivictor sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is NBC122 (= KCTC 72248 = JCM 33980).
一株革兰氏阴性、非运动、杆状的细菌菌株,被命名为 NBC 122,从韩国的南道河淡水分离得到。该菌在 pH5.0-8.0(最佳,pH7.0)、4-37°C(最佳,25°C)和 0-3.5%(w/v)NaCl(最佳,1%)的条件下生长。基于 16S rRNA 基因序列的系统发育分析表明,NBC 122 菌株属于黄杆菌属,与南极黄杆菌 AT1013(97.85%)最为密切相关。NBC 122 菌株与相关黄杆菌属种之间的平均核苷酸同一性和体外 DNA-DNA 杂交(DDH)值分别为 77.77-80.28%和 20.9-23.2%。NBC 122 株含有 MK-6 作为主要呼吸醌。主要脂肪酸包括 anteiso C、iso C、总和特征 9(C iso ω9c、C 10-甲基)和 iso C 3-OH,极性脂包括磷脂酰乙醇胺、五种未鉴定的氨基脂和六种未鉴定的脂。DNA G+C 含量为 37.5mol%。根据 16S rRNA 基因系统发育和比较表型分析,NBC 122 株代表黄杆菌属中的一个新种,提议命名为 Salivictor 黄杆菌(Chryseobacterium salivictor)。模式菌株是 NBC122(=KCTC 72248=JCM 33980)。
