[Senior studies at the Mannheim University evaluated by consumers. Results of an empirical study].

The empirical findings presented in this article show that the post-retirement study program at the University of Mannheim is highly appreciated by its participants. This facility enabling older adults to study meets the needs of elderly people for meaningful spare-time activities and for enlargement of all-round education to a high degree. The findings suggest that the post-retirement study program is a successful expansion of the teaching program at the University of Mannheim.
