The author reports late result of focal buried homoplasty of the femoral head performed after the author's technic in 84 patients: for tuberculous coxitis (72), aseptic necrosis of the femoral head (7) and other lesions of the coxa (5). The terms of the follow-up postoperatively in 78 patients are from 3 to 11 years. An estimation of functional result of treatment was made by a 4-grade system, adopted by the majority of authors. Excellent results were gained in 18 patients, good--in 26, satisfactory--in 29 and poor--in 11.
