To investigate the outcomes of removal of the secondary epiretinal membrane (ERM) after rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) repair.
Retrospective cese series study. Eighteen consecutive patients (18 eyes) who underwent secondary ERM removal after successful RRD repair were reviewed. The postoperative visual outcomes, intraoperative and postoperative complications and the images of spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) were analyzed.
The mean VA improved from 20/117(logMAR 0.76) preoperatively to 20/81(logMAR 0.60) postoperatively (p = 0.086). The preoperative central foveal thickness of 384.3μm ± 137 decreased to 243.6μm ± 89 postoperatively (p < 0.001).
In our series, performing operation to secondary ERM after retinal detachment surgery had clinical and anatomical success.
探讨孔源性视网膜脱离(RRD)修复术后继发性视网膜前膜(ERM)切除的效果。
回顾性病例系列研究。对18例(18眼)RRD修复成功后接受继发性ERM切除的连续患者进行了回顾。分析了术后视力结果、术中及术后并发症以及频域光学相干断层扫描(SD-OCT)图像。
平均视力从术前的20/117(logMAR 0.76)提高到术后的20/81(logMAR 0.60)(p = 0.086)。术前中心凹厚度为384.3μm±137,术后降至243.6μm±89(p < 0.001)。
在我们的系列研究中,视网膜脱离手术后对继发性ERM进行手术在临床和解剖学上取得了成功。
