针对中药敷贴疗法在临床应用中的局限，即作用部位有限、经络效应不足、重表轻里、辨证应用受限等问题，教授提出基于经络与辨证的中药敷贴临床经验，包括：循经辨证指导下的单经敷贴；肌区经络辨证基础上的多维敷贴；以络脉辨证为原则的分区敷贴；病辨证结合的选穴敷贴；辨证论治的专病敷贴。
