Paraganglioma has been determined to be an extra-adrenal pheochromocytoma. Paraganglioma of the bladder is a rare entity, accounting for 0.06% of all bladder tumors.
A 58-year-old woman had been annually followed up since being diagnosed with rectal cancer 5 years ago. In January 2018, follow-up computed tomography detected a bladder tumor, and she was referred to our department for a further examination. Cystoscopy revealed a submucosal tumor on her right bladder wall. We performed transurethral resection of the bladder tumor. When we first marked the tumor margin, the systolic blood pressure increased, so we abandoned resection. We performed meta-iodobenzylguanidine scintigraphy and acid urinary collection, neither of which revealed any abnormal findings. We therefore performed open partial cystectomy based on a clinical diagnosis of paraganglioma of the bladder. The pathological findings revealed paraganglioma of the bladder.
We herein report a case of paraganglioma of the bladder.
副神经节瘤已被确定为肾上腺外嗜铬细胞瘤。膀胱副神经节瘤是一种罕见的实体肿瘤，占所有膀胱肿瘤的0.06%。
一名58岁女性自5年前被诊断为直肠癌以来每年接受随访。2018年1月，随访计算机断层扫描发现膀胱肿瘤，她被转诊至我科进行进一步检查。膀胱镜检查发现其右膀胱壁有一个黏膜下肿瘤。我们进行了经尿道膀胱肿瘤切除术。当我们最初标记肿瘤边缘时，收缩压升高，因此我们放弃了切除。我们进行了间碘苄胍闪烁扫描和酸性尿液收集，均未发现任何异常结果。因此，我们基于膀胱副神经节瘤的临床诊断进行了开放性部分膀胱切除术。病理结果显示为膀胱副神经节瘤。
我们在此报告一例膀胱副神经节瘤病例。
