Early parkinsonism.

The early clinical diagnosis of parkinsonism has been reviewed, together with consideration of investigations that may be helpful in certain cases. The controversial issues of management in early Parkinson's disease have been addressed, and some newer concepts of early diagnosis and management have been discussed, deriving from the study of a population of patients exposed to MPTP.
