The aim of the study was to determine the effect of dietary hybrid barley and/or wheat on production parameters, selected biochemical parameters of blood serum characterizing health status in fattening pigs. In group I, hybrid barley constituted 80% of feed; in II-wheat and hybrid barley were used, each in amount of 40% feed; in III-contained 80% of wheat. No significant differences were noted in case of performance results (body weight gains, feed intake, and feed conversion ratio) and meatiness of fatteners. All estimated biochemical indices determined in serum were within normal range. Usage of 80% hybrid barley decreased concentration of total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein fraction (LDL), and triglycerides in blood ( < 0.05). However, high-density lipoprotein fraction (HDL) content increased ( < 0.01) up to 1.04 mmol·dm, comparing to the group with 80% of wheat (0.84 mmol·dm). Summarized, the diet with high level of barley had a beneficial effect on blood lipid indices, what indicate a good health status of all animals.
本研究的目的是确定日粮中杂交大麦和/或小麦对育肥猪生产性能参数以及表征健康状况的选定血清生化参数的影响。在第一组中,杂交大麦占饲料的80%;在第二组中,小麦和杂交大麦各占饲料的40%;在第三组中,小麦占80%。育肥猪的生产性能结果(体重增加、采食量和饲料转化率)和肉质方面未发现显著差异。血清中所有测定的生化指标均在正常范围内。使用80%的杂交大麦可降低血液中总胆固醇、低密度脂蛋白组分(LDL)和甘油三酯的浓度(P<0.05)。然而,高密度脂蛋白组分(HDL)含量增加(P<0.01),与含80%小麦的组相比(0.84 mmol·dm³),增加至1.04 mmol·dm³。综上所述,高比例大麦日粮对血脂指标有有益影响,这表明所有动物的健康状况良好。
