With the aid of the Coombs indirect method the authors studied the blood sera of 79 patients with different forms of schizophrenia and 27 normal donors. It was demonstrate that the blood sera of schizophrenic patients and normals contain globulins capable of fixation on different components of a nervous cell. However, the character and intensity of fluorescence as well as the amount of fluorescent nerve cells in the field of vision distinguishes the examined patients from normal donors.
