[Seroprevalence of and infections among pregnant women in Hangzhou City].

Abstract

OBJECTIVE

To investigate the prevalence of and infections among pregnant women in Hangzhou City, so as to provide baseline data for decreasing birth defects and improving the population quality.

METHODS

A total of 235 pregnant women receiving prenatal diagnosis at the First People's Hospital of Yuhang District during the period between February 2018 through December 2019 were recruited as the observation group, and 235 age-matched, non-pregnant healthy women at the same hospital during the same period served as the control group. The subjects'medical records were captured from the hospital management information system. Blood samples were collected from the observation and control groups and detected for the presence of IgG antibodies against and using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The seroprevalence of the IgG antibodies against and was compared between the observation and control groups.

RESULTS

The subjects in the observation group had a mean age of 26.5 ± 4.3 years (range, 23 to 31 years), and gestational ages of 10 to 27 weeks, and the subjects in the control group had a mean age of 26.1 ± 5.7 years (range, 20 to 30 years). The seroprevalence rates of IgG antibodies against (28.51% vs. 4.68%; = 34.85, < 0.01) and (24.26% vs. 5.11%; = 25.77, < 0.01) were both significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group, and the seroprevalence of and co-infections was also significantly greater in the observation group than in the control group (13.19% vs. 2.13%; = 17.49, < 0.01).

CONCLUSIONS

The seroprevalence rates of and infections and their co-infections are all high among pregnant women in Hangzhou City. Screening of and infections is strongly recommended during pregnancy.

目的

调查杭州市孕妇中[具体病原体1]和[具体病原体2]感染情况,为降低出生缺陷、提高人口素质提供基线数据。

方法

选取2018年2月至2019年12月期间在余杭区第一人民医院接受产前诊断的235例孕妇作为观察组,同期选取该院235例年龄匹配的非孕健康女性作为对照组。从医院管理信息系统获取研究对象的病历资料。采集观察组和对照组血液样本,采用酶联免疫吸附试验(ELISA)检测抗[具体病原体1]和抗[具体病原体2]IgG抗体。比较观察组和对照组抗[具体病原体1]和抗[具体病原体2]IgG抗体的血清阳性率。

结果

观察组研究对象平均年龄为26.5±4.3岁(范围23至31岁),孕周为10至27周;对照组研究对象平均年龄为26.1±5.7岁(范围20至30岁)。观察组抗[具体病原体1]IgG抗体血清阳性率(28.51%对4.68%;χ² = 34.85,P < 0.01)和抗[具体病原体2]IgG抗体血清阳性率(24.26%对5.11%;χ² = 25.77,P < 0.01)均显著高于对照组,且观察组[具体病原体1]和[具体病原体2]合并感染的血清阳性率也显著高于对照组(13.19%对2.13%;χ² = 17.49,P < 0.01)。

结论

杭州市孕妇中[具体病原体1]和[具体病原体2]感染及其合并感染的血清阳性率均较高。强烈建议孕期筛查[具体病原体1]和[具体病原体2]感染。
