An Unusual Reason for Nocturia Combined with Cognitive Decline and Gait Disturbance We present the case of a woman with frequency, nocturia, and painful bladder without urinary incontinence. Further examination showed cognitive decline and gait disturbance. A magnetic resonance imaging of the neurocranium showed normal pressure hydrocephalus. After lumbar puncture with cerebrospinal fluid evacuation the symptoms improved. The clinical triad of gait disturbance, cognitive decline and urinary symptoms like frequency with or without incontinence is typical for normal pressure hydrocephalus (Hakim-Adams triad).
