The first complete chloroplast genome sequences of Korean endemic pokeweed in Ulleung Island, , were reported in this study. The plastome was 156,419 bp long, with the large single copy (LSC) region of 86,106 bp, the small single copy (SSC) region of 18,335 bp, and two inverted repeat (IR) regions of 25,989 bp. The plastome contained 132 genes, including 84 protein-coding, eight ribosomal RNA, and 39 transfer RNA genes. The overall GC content was 36.8%. Phylogenetic analysis of 13 representative plastomes within the order Caryophyllales suggests that is closely related to the species in family Aizoaceae.
本研究报道了郁陵岛韩国特有商陆的首个完整叶绿体基因组序列。该质体基因组长度为156,419 bp,大单拷贝(LSC)区域为86,106 bp,小单拷贝(SSC)区域为18,335 bp,两个反向重复(IR)区域为25,989 bp。该质体基因组包含132个基因,包括84个蛋白质编码基因、8个核糖体RNA基因和39个转运RNA基因。总体GC含量为36.8%。石竹目13个代表性质体基因组的系统发育分析表明,该物种与番杏科的物种密切相关。
