Abstract

is a medicinal plant commonly used in the southwest of China. In this study, we sequenced the complete chloroplast (cp) genome sequence of to investigate its phylogenetic relationship in the family Lamiaceae. The total length of the cp genome was 151,338 bp, with 38.0% overall GC content and exhibited typical quadripartite structure, a pair of IRs (inverted repeats) of 25,578 bp each were separated by a small single-copy (SSC) region of 17,564 bp and a large single-copy (LSC) region of 82,618 bp. The cp genome contained 114 genes, including 80 protein coding genes, 30 tRNA genes, and 4 rRNA genes. The phylogenetic analysis indicated was closely related to , which afforded a scientific evidence that could be used as original species of Radix et Rhizoma Saliviae Miltiorrhizae (Danshen).

是一种在中国西南部常用的药用植物。在本研究中,我们对其叶绿体(cp)全基因组序列进行了测序,以研究其在唇形科中的系统发育关系。cp基因组全长151,338 bp,总体GC含量为38.0%,呈现典型的四分体结构,一对25,578 bp的反向重复序列(IRs)被一个17,564 bp的小单拷贝(SSC)区域和一个82,618 bp的大单拷贝(LSC)区域隔开。cp基因组包含114个基因,包括80个蛋白质编码基因、30个tRNA基因和4个rRNA基因。系统发育分析表明与密切相关,这为可作为丹参的原植物提供了科学依据。
