Abstract

and are two compressed-bodied ornamental fishes of Serrasalmidae family. In this study, complete mitochondrial genome sequences of the two species were determined. The mitogenomes were 16662 bp and 16737 bp nucleotides in length, and both contained 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 22 transfer RNAs (tRNA), 2 ribosomal RNAs (rRNA) and a control region. The phylogenetic tree revealed that was closely related to and while was related to , and then the two clades clustered into one group. Present mitogenome sequences of and will provide molecular information to the evolution and ecology studies of the two species.

摘要

[鱼名1]和[鱼名2]是锯脂鲤科的两种体型侧扁的观赏鱼。在本研究中,测定了这两个物种的完整线粒体基因组序列。线粒体基因组长度分别为16662bp和16737bp,均包含13个蛋白质编码基因(PCGs)、22个转运RNA(tRNA)、2个核糖体RNA(rRNA)和一个控制区。系统发育树显示,[鱼名1]与[鱼名3]和[鱼名4]密切相关,而[鱼名2]与[鱼名5]相关,然后这两个进化枝聚为一组。目前[鱼名1]和[鱼名2]的线粒体基因组序列将为这两个物种的进化和生态学研究提供分子信息。
