Silver-Russell syndrome (SRS) is a rare disorder characterised by prenatal and postnatal growth deficiency, a relatively large head size with triangular face, a prominent forehead, body asymmetry, feeding difficulties, clinodactyly and other features. Abnormalities of chromosome number 7 and 11 have been found in 60% of patients, but the diagnosis of the disease is mainly by ascertaining clinical features. We, herein, report a case of an 11-year boy who presented to Orthodontics Department of Armed Forces Institute of Dentistry (AFID), for treatment of craniofacial and oral problems, which included small-sized jaws and severely crowded teeth. The patient is undergoing serial extraction treatment at the moment, which will be followed by further orthodontic treatment. Silver-Russell综合征(SRS)是一种罕见的疾病,其特征为产前和产后生长发育迟缓、头部相对较大且面部呈三角形、前额突出、身体不对称、喂养困难、小指内弯及其他特征。60%的患者存在7号和11号染色体异常,但该疾病的诊断主要依据临床特征来确定。在此,我们报告一例11岁男孩的病例,该男孩因颅面和口腔问题就诊于武装部队牙科学院正畸科,这些问题包括颌骨较小和牙齿严重拥挤。该患者目前正在接受序列拔牙治疗,后续还将进行进一步的正畸治疗。关键词:Silver-Russell综合征、生长发育迟缓、三角形脸、身体不对称
