Abstract

, commonly known as 'Bayuezha' in China, has been widely used as traditional Chinese medicinal herbs with a long history. In the present study, the complete chloroplast genome of was sequenced using Illumina high-throughput sequencing approach. The length of the complete chloroplast genome is 157,952 bp with 38.7% GC content. It contains 131 genes, including 86 protein-coding genes, 37 genes, and 8 genes. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that was closely related to another Lardizabalaceae species, , which further confirms traditional species classification.

在中国通常被称为“八月楂”,作为传统中草药已有悠久的使用历史。在本研究中,使用Illumina高通量测序方法对其完整叶绿体基因组进行了测序。完整叶绿体基因组长度为157,952 bp,GC含量为38.7%。它包含131个基因,包括86个蛋白质编码基因、37个基因和8个基因。系统发育分析表明,它与另一种木通科植物密切相关,这进一步证实了传统的物种分类。
