Choanal atresia is a rare malformation of the nose. If it occurs bilaterally, it may cause life-threatening complications shortly after birth. The disease is mainly diagnosed clinically. Only few cases have been presented and documented by means of radiologic procedures. In particular, CT presentation of this malformation has to our knowledge not been published to date.
