Abstract

belongs to the genera within the subfamily , its complete mitochondrial genome is 16,348 bp in length, containing 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNA genes, 12S rRNA gene and 16S rRNA gene as other Cricetidae species. Results of phylogenetic analysis showed that had unique phylogenetic position estimated in between , , , , , and other genera. This study revealed the evolutionary status of in at the molecular level. The mitochondrial genome would be a significant supplement for the genetic background analysis and experimental animalization.
