In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome of the tobacco moth was sequenced and analyzed. The mitochondrial genome is 15345 bp long and contains 13 protein-coding genes, two rRNA genes, 22 tRNA genes, and one control region. Twenty-three genes were found to be encoded by the majority strand and the other 14 genes by minority strand, those is similar to that of other insects. The nucleotide compositing of the majority strand are 38.6% of A, 11.77% of C, 42.05% of T and 7.58% of G. The phylogenetic analysis by Maximum-likelihood (ML) method revealed that the was close to the same genus insect
在本研究中,对烟草螟的完整线粒体基因组进行了测序和分析。线粒体基因组长度为15345 bp,包含13个蛋白质编码基因、2个rRNA基因、22个tRNA基因和1个控制区。发现23个基因由重链编码,另外14个基因由轻链编码,这与其他昆虫相似。重链的核苷酸组成分别为:A占38.6%、C占11.77%、T占42.05%、G占7.58%。通过最大似然法(ML)进行的系统发育分析表明,该烟草螟与同属昆虫亲缘关系较近。
