Abstract

The purpose of this review is the analysis of the soil and groundwater remediation technologies referred as chemical oxidation and phytoremediation, and to discuss the successes that have been made. The technology of phytoremediation has yet to be commercially accepted but shows emerging capabilities. chemical oxidation (ISCO) is a frequently used technology in Taiwan for the remediation of organic compounds. Several studies have been conducted in Taiwan so show their feasibility and potential. This article reviews studies concerning these two remediation technologies. Other processes such as monitored natural attenuation, flushing, thermal treatment, or soil washing are not covered within this article.

本次综述的目的是分析土壤和地下水修复技术,包括化学氧化和植物修复,并讨论已取得的成功。植物修复技术尚未被商业接受,但显示出新兴的能力。化学氧化(ISCO)是台湾用于修复有机化合物的常用技术。台湾已经进行了几项研究,以证明其可行性和潜力。本文回顾了这两种修复技术的研究。本文不涉及其他过程,如自然衰减监测、冲洗、热处理或土壤洗涤。
