The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of perceived helicopter parenting, critical thinking disposition, cognitive ability, and learning motivation on learning behavior in nursing students in South Korea. The participants in this study were 149 sophomore nursing students from two universities using convenience sampling. The two universities were similar in terms of type, curricula, and size. Data were collected from October to November 2017 using self-reported questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchical multiple regression with SPSS 22.0. The mean score of perceived helicopter parenting was 3.06 ± 0.65 out of six points. The levels of critical thinking disposition, cognitive ability, learning motivation, and learning behavior were medium. Factors affecting learning behavior were learning motivation (β = 0.40, < 0.001), cognitive ability (β = 0.26, = 0.001), and critical thinking disposition (β = 0.25, = 0.001). These variables explained 32% of the variance in learning behavior (F = 18.21, < 0.001). Teaching methods are necessary to increase the critical thinking disposition and learning competence of nursing students. In addition, it is important to consider the learning motivation of nursing students for effective learning.
本研究旨在探讨在韩国护理学专业学生的学习行为受父母教养方式感知、批判性思维倾向、认知能力和学习动机的影响。本研究的参与者为两所大学的 149 名护理专业二年级学生,采用便利抽样法。这两所大学在类型、课程和规模上都相似。2017 年 10 月至 11 月,采用自陈式问卷收集数据。使用 SPSS 22.0 对收集到的数据进行描述性统计分析、皮尔逊相关系数分析和层次多重回归分析。父母教养方式感知的平均得分为 6 分制的 3.06 ± 0.65 分。批判性思维倾向、认知能力、学习动机和学习行为的水平为中等。影响学习行为的因素有学习动机(β = 0.40,<0.001)、认知能力(β = 0.26, = 0.001)和批判性思维倾向(β = 0.25, = 0.001)。这些变量可以解释学习行为 32%的方差(F = 18.21,<0.001)。教学方法对于提高护理专业学生的批判性思维倾向和学习能力是必要的。此外,考虑护理专业学生的学习动机对于有效学习也很重要。
