Abstract

The complete mitochondrial genome of strain CCMP2712 was sequenced, assembled, and annotated in this study. The circular genome is 35,013 bp in size and it contains 36 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 28 transfer RNA genes (tRNA), and 2 ribosomal RNA genes (rRNA). The overall GC contents of the mitochondrial genome are 28.9%. The phylogenetic tree was constructed to validate the taxonomic relationship based on the complete mitogenomes of strain CCMP2712 through combining with seven Cryptophyta and four Heterokontophyta algae. The complete mitochondrial genome of the strain CCMP2712 will provide more information for the evolution of secondary endosymbiotic species.

本研究对CCMP2712菌株的完整线粒体基因组进行了测序、组装和注释。该环状基因组大小为35,013 bp,包含36个蛋白质编码基因(PCGs)、28个转运RNA基因(tRNA)和2个核糖体RNA基因(rRNA)。线粒体基因组的总体GC含量为28.9%。通过结合七个隐藻门和四个不等鞭毛藻门藻类的完整有丝分裂基因组,构建了系统发育树以验证CCMP2712菌株的分类关系。CCMP2712菌株的完整线粒体基因组将为次生内共生物种的进化提供更多信息。
