Abstract

Patients with craniofacial microsomia often require multiple surgical interventions to address both hard and soft tissue defects. For improvement of soft tissue defects, microvascular free tissue transfers have been widely performed after puberty. To camouflage facial asymmetry, early fat grafting was performed on five six-month-old patients, and acceptable outcomes were obtained without overcorrection. This result suggests that early fat grafting in craniofacial microsomia is useful to camouflage asymmetrical facial contours.

摘要

颅面骨发育不全的患者常需要多次手术干预,以解决硬组织和软组织缺陷问题。为改善软组织缺陷,微血管游离组织转移已在青春期后广泛开展。为了掩饰面部不对称,对 5 名 6 个月大的患者进行了早期脂肪移植,结果令人满意,没有过度矫正。这一结果表明,颅面骨发育不全患者的早期脂肪移植有助于掩饰不对称的面部轮廓。
