Abstract

9-Xanthenes, 9-thioxanthenes and 9,10-dihydroacridines can be easily oxidized to the corresponding xanthones, thioxanthones and acridones, respectively, by a simple photo-oxidation procedure carried out using molecular oxygen as oxidant under the irradiation of visible blue light and in the presence of riboflavin tetraacetate as a metal-free photocatalyst. The obtained yields are high or quantitative.

9-呫吨、9-硫代呫吨和9,10-二氢吖啶可通过一种简单的光氧化程序轻松分别氧化为相应的呫吨酮、硫代呫吨酮和吖啶酮,该程序以分子氧作为氧化剂,在可见光蓝光照射下且在四乙酸核黄素作为无金属光催化剂存在的条件下进行。所获得的产率很高或为定量产率。
