A new 3D noncentrosymmetric mixed-metal sulfate iodate, AgBi(SO)(IO), has been designed based on a 2D iodate of AgBi(IO)via the aliovalent substitution of [IO] groups by [SO] groups. Enhancement of the second harmonic generation response (3.0 × KDP to 3.9 × KDP) has been achieved while retaining a favorable NLO framework. This is a novel strategy to upgrade structural dimensions.
一种新型的3D非中心对称混合金属硫酸碘酸盐AgBi(SO)(IO),是基于AgBi(IO)的二维碘酸盐通过用[SO]基团对[IO]基团进行异价取代而设计的。在保留良好的非线性光学(NLO)框架的同时,实现了二次谐波产生响应的增强(从3.0×磷酸二氢钾(KDP)提高到3.9×KDP)。这是一种提升结构维度的新策略。
