Abstract

Carbapenem-resistant (CRE) are included in the list of the most threatening antibiotic resistance microorganisms, being responsible for often insurmountable therapeutic issues, especially in hospitalized patients and immunocompromised individuals and patients in intensive care units. The enzymatic resistance to carbapenems is encoded by different β-lactamases belonging to A, B or D Ambler class. Besides compromising the activity of last-resort antibiotics, CRE have spread from the clinical to the environmental sectors, in all geographic regions. The purpose of this review is to present present and future perspectives on CRE-associated infections treatment.

耐碳青霉烯类肠杆菌科细菌(CRE)被列入最具威胁性的抗生素耐药微生物名单,常导致难以克服的治疗问题,尤其是在住院患者、免疫功能低下者以及重症监护病房的患者中。对碳青霉烯类的酶耐药性由属于A、B或D类安布勒分类的不同β-内酰胺酶编码。除了损害最后一道防线抗生素的活性外,CRE已在所有地理区域从临床传播到环境领域。本综述的目的是介绍CRE相关感染治疗的现状和未来前景。
