A case of mesenteric lymphadenitis caused by Yersinia pseudotuberculosis is described in a young adult. The diagnosis was suggested by the histological appearance of the lymph nodes, and confirmed by serological tests. This is the first report of mesenteric lymphadenitis due to Y. pseudotuberculosis in Israel.
