[Arteriolo-venular anastomoses in the synovial membrane of the knee joint].

The arteriolo-venular anastomoses (AVA) in the synovial membrane of the knee joint of fetuses (40), corpses of persons at various age (120) and dogs (30) have been studied by means of the impregnation method after V. V. Kupriyanov. In the synovial membrane shunts and semishunts are revealed. The AVA localize in composition of the deep vascular network of the synovial membrane. They are dynamic structures. The occurrence of their disclosure and their structure depend on the age factor.
