Abstract

is a well-known ornamental tree with high medicinal and edible values. In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome sequence of was assembled, annotated, and analyzed using phylogenomic methods. The complete mitochondrial genome of was 563,202 bp in length and displays an overall GC content of 44.58%. Sixteen chloroplast-derived segments with an average length of 1260 bp were identified. The complete mitochondrial genome contained 74 genes in total, including 44 protein-coding, three rRNA, and 27 tRNA genes, among which seven protein-coding and six tRNA genes were chloroplast-derived. Phylogenetic analysis showed that was closely related to within the Oleaceae. This study could provide genomic resources for a better understanding of and further studies on the evolution of Oleaceae.

是一种具有很高药用和食用价值的著名观赏树。在本研究中,利用系统发育基因组学方法对其完整线粒体基因组序列进行了组装、注释和分析。其完整线粒体基因组长度为563,202 bp,总体GC含量为44.58%。鉴定出16个平均长度为1260 bp的叶绿体衍生片段。完整线粒体基因组总共包含74个基因,包括44个蛋白质编码基因、3个rRNA基因和27个tRNA基因,其中7个蛋白质编码基因和6个tRNA基因是叶绿体衍生的。系统发育分析表明,在木犀科中与关系密切。本研究可为更好地了解以及木犀科进化的进一步研究提供基因组资源。
