Abstract

Innovative nitrogen and boron co-doped carbon dots are hydrothermally produced using fructose, urea, and boric acid as precursors. The synthesized carbon dots possess a uniform morphology, and exhibit excellent fluorescence stability, tunable luminescence property, strong resistance to photobleaching, low-toxicity, and excellent biocompatibility. It is also found more dopant urea is conducive to the formation of the carbon dots with more B-N bonds, and shorter wavelength of fluorescence emission. Meanwhile, the synthesized carbon dots are well utilized as a photoluminescent probe for facile Hg determination and fluorescent imaging reagent in cells.

创新性的氮硼共掺杂碳点是通过水热法使用果糖、尿素和硼酸作为前体制备的。所合成的碳点具有均匀的形态,表现出优异的荧光稳定性、可调谐的发光性能、强抗光漂白性、低毒性和优异的生物相容性。还发现,更多的掺杂尿素有利于形成具有更多 B-N 键和更短荧光发射波长的碳点。同时,所合成的碳点可用作简便测定汞的光致发光探针和细胞中的荧光成像试剂。
