PURPOSE
To report six patients with endogenous endophthalmitis as a complication of COVID-19 infection.
METHODS
A multicentric retrospective database review of patients with a diagnosis of endogenous endophthalmitis and a history of COVID-19 infection.
RESULTS
. Control of infection with good visual outcome in four out of eight eyes.
CONCLUSIONS
COVID-19 patients with a history of hospitalization and prolonged use of systemic corticosteroids and comorbidities, for example, diabetes mellitus have a high risk of endogenous endophthalmitis. A high index of clinical suspicion with timely intervention can salvage many eyes.
目的
报告 6 例 COVID-19 感染患者的内源性眼内炎并发症。
方法
对诊断为内源性眼内炎且有 COVID-19 感染史的患者进行多中心回顾性数据库研究。
结果
8 只眼中有 4 只眼通过控制感染获得了良好的视力结局。
结论
有住院史、长期全身使用皮质类固醇和合并症（如糖尿病）的 COVID-19 患者有发生内源性眼内炎的高风险。通过及时干预，提高临床怀疑指数可以挽救许多患者的视力。
