To research the differences of sensory organization testing in maintaining postural stability between patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and patients with peripheral vertigo using computerized posturography. Participants were divided into the control group (52 cases), the type 2 diabetes mellitus group (T2DM) (45 cases), and the peripheral vertigo group (PV) (47 cases). All participants were examined under six conditions by computerized posturography: The sensory organization test, a part of computerized dynamic posturography, was used to assess the abilities of vision, somatosensory and vestibular systems in maintaining postural stability. The scores of statokinesiogram (SKG) of the T2DM group in condition 1 (standing on static platform with eye open), condition 4(standing on foam platform with eyes open) and condition 6(standing on foam platform with servo-controlled vision) were significantly greater than that in the vertigo group (<0.01). The visual scores in the T2DM group were lower than those of the PV group(<0.01) in the anteroposterior and lateral directions. Patients with type 2 diabetes and peripheral vertigo have a decreased ability to maintain balance in the upright position. Patients with type 2 diabetes have a poorer ability to maintain balance with visual systems than patients with peripheral vertigo.
采用计算机姿势描记法研究2型糖尿病患者与周围性眩晕患者在维持姿势稳定性方面感觉组织测试的差异。将参与者分为对照组(52例)、2型糖尿病组(T2DM)(45例)和周围性眩晕组(PV)(47例)。所有参与者均通过计算机姿势描记法在六种条件下进行检查:感觉组织测试是计算机动态姿势描记法的一部分,用于评估视觉、躯体感觉和前庭系统在维持姿势稳定性方面的能力。T2DM组在条件1(睁眼站在静态平台上)、条件4(睁眼站在泡沫平台上)和条件6(在伺服控制视觉下站在泡沫平台上)的姿势运动图(SKG)得分显著高于眩晕组(<0.01)。T2DM组在前后和左右方向的视觉得分低于PV组(<0.01)。2型糖尿病患者和周围性眩晕患者在直立位维持平衡的能力下降。2型糖尿病患者利用视觉系统维持平衡的能力比周围性眩晕患者更差。
