To assess the patient's satisfaction rate during two distinct registry procedures in the emergency department.
A cross-sectional study was conducted in educational hospitals with a high volume of patient's admission in Tabriz-Iran and Erzurum-Turkey. In this study, we used a Press Ganey questionnaire as a data collection tool that was filled out with patients or their companions before discharging or referred to other areas (wards). Finally, data were analyzed by using SPSS software version 16.
The included patients were from three-admission time courses includes morning, evening, and night shifts. The present study results indicated that the total satisfaction score was two scores higher than the classic one (<0.001) in the model registry system. Furthermore, the findings of the current study interestingly showed a correlation between satisfaction rate and education level as well as patient's location. Thus, patients with moderate education levels had a higher satisfaction rate in urban regions when compared with rural regions and higher/lower education levels (=0.03).
Patients' satisfaction rate with multiple variables can be improved by designing an appropriate registry procedure.
评估急诊科两种不同登记程序期间患者的满意度。
在伊朗大不里士和土耳其埃尔祖鲁姆患者入院量大的教学医院开展了一项横断面研究。在本研究中,我们使用Press Ganey问卷作为数据收集工具,在患者出院或转至其他区域(病房)前由患者或其陪同人员填写。最后,使用SPSS 16版软件对数据进行分析。
纳入的患者来自三个入院时间段,包括早班、中班和夜班。本研究结果表明,在模型登记系统中,总满意度得分比传统登记系统高两分(<0.001)。此外,本研究结果有趣地显示,满意度与教育水平以及患者所在地区之间存在关联。因此,与农村地区以及高/低教育水平相比,中等教育水平的患者在城市地区的满意度更高(=0.03)。
通过设计适当的登记程序,可以提高患者对多个变量的满意度。
