Abstract
A comparison of spheric and aspheric cataract lenses was carried out on 28 patients with uncomplicated surgery. Lenses were evaluated with respect to eccentric acuity, visual field, ring scotoma, magnification, distortion, and subjective preferences. The results suggest that design differences can be applied to specific visual tasks, thus improving clinical lens prescribing.

对28例白内障手术无并发症的患者进行了球面与非球面人工晶状体的比较。从偏心视力、视野、环形暗点、放大率、畸变和主观偏好等方面对人工晶状体进行了评估。结果表明，设计差异可应用于特定的视觉任务，从而改善临床人工晶状体的处方。
