Abstract
Prostaglandin F2 alpha induced a contractile response in smooth muscles of strips of the pig right and left coronary arteries. The response could not be abolished with potassium depolarization but was obviously suppressed with sodium nitroprussid or verapamyl (blocking agents for calcium permeability of cellular membranes).
