Abstract

In three different groups of patients with nasal polyps without or with bronchial hyperreactivity and aspirin-sensitivity the content of several prostaglandin metabolites and LTC4 were measured in the polyp-tissue. A significant elevation of Thromboxane formation (TxB2) was found. The pathophysiological importance of this finding for the development of bronchial hyperreactivity in these patients is seen in context with the non-cholinergic stimulating system with consecutive substance P-formation and the role of the eosinophil cell in chronic inflammation.

在三组分别有无支气管高反应性和阿司匹林敏感性的鼻息肉患者中,测定了息肉组织中几种前列腺素代谢产物和白三烯C4的含量。发现血栓素生成(血栓素B2)显著升高。结合非胆碱能刺激系统及后续P物质的生成以及嗜酸性粒细胞在慢性炎症中的作用,可看出这一发现对这些患者支气管高反应性发展的病理生理重要性。
