Pulps derived from persons aged 33-65 years. The majority of the capillaries were non-fenestrated. Several cytoplasmic vesicles were observed close to the plasma membrane of the endothelial cells. Probably these vesicles are primarily responsible for substrate transport. There may be structural changes associated with age in the capillaries of the human dental pulp.
